“We make a living by what we get. We make a life by what we give.”
Springfield Elementary prides themselves on the opportunities they are able to provide to their students. Among a long list of these opportunities falls a live streaming Morning News broadcast run by fourth graders. The elementary school had been renting their local high schools secondary set of production equipment to administer this broadcast, but after a flooding struck the Livingston Parish School District this opportunity was forced to be put on hold with a risk of being cancelled altogether. The flood destroyed the initial set of gear pressuring the high school to take this secondary set back.
The faculty of the school was determined to continue this positive daily routine with their children and in so started pushing to raise money to buy their own equipment to get things running again. Hevvy/Toyo was happy to receive a sponsor request letter from the school and even happier to support them in their journey. Our team donated $1,000.00 towards the schools total cost of $10,000.00 for new equipment. We can't wait for the school to be fully set up again and we are so proud to be a part of such a positive community!
The ladies above are faculty members who received our donation and wanted to thank our team!
