The HNC Series delivers exceptional reliability and efficiency

Our HNC Series of pumps are true cantilever pumps, meaning they require no submerged seals and are built to withstand the toughest applications.

Our HNC series is based on our proven, robust yet low-maintenance cantilever technology – with no submerged seals and patented axial spiral hydraulic design – to maximize pumping efficiency. Our vertical slurry pump features wet end standard in High Chrome and CD4 and up to 8ft setting lengths.

HNC & HNV/O Success Stories

115 Cantilever and line shaft pumps operating for years in a large nickel-processing plant

A large Nickel miner trusts our cantilever and line shaft pumps to handle the various slurries found in its processing plant that contain acidic solutions needed to separate iron, sulphur and other impurities from Nickel, Copper & Cobalt. The pumps have various metallurgies, including high chrome, CD4MCu, Alloy 20 and Hastelloy C22.

in service for over 15 years in a black liquor application where other pumps kept failing

A major paper mill struggled with keeping its black liquor pump operating and experienced significant downtime and maintenance costs. They switched to our cantilever slurry pump with no submerged bearings or bushings, and no mechanical seal and had minimal maintenance issues for over 15 years.

25 feet-Long Line Shafts Pumping waste water For a Major Stainless Steel Mill

In 2000, we manufactured and supplied 6x 25 feet-long HNV pumps fitted with a direct drive.  The line shafts are pumping waste water from this steel production site; the pumps were so efficient that two years later, we were asked to supply an identical pump as a spare.

THE MODULAR ADVANTAGES

  • Maximum Flexibility

If your pump performance requirements change, simply change the pumping end to ensure you are always achieving maximum productivity and efficiency.

  • Cost Savings

No need to buy a brand new piece of equipment when system requirements change. Just change the pump end. If you can standardize on the same pumping ends throughout your plant then you can greatly reduce the need for excessive spare parts inventory.

  • Increased Productivity

Production is profit. When systems change the lead times of some custom drive units can not only be long but also expensive. If you can recycle your drive unit and simply change your pumping end you can get back into production quicker, cheaper, with less downtime required.

Our all-in-one FROTH PUMP SYSTEM

Seal-less pump, sump, and driver designed to separate air from slurry prior to pumping for maximum pumping ability.

Our froth pump systems utilize our proven, robust yet low-maintenance cantilever technology – with no submerged seals and patented axial spiral hydraulic design – to maximize pumping efficiency.

  • optimized Conical tank

using computational fluid dynamics to create a vortex that allows the air entrained in the slurry to escape prior to pumping.

  • Designed for ease of install and connectivity

  • vortex inducing wet end

high efficiency, recessed, capable of pumping high concentrations of entrained air.

  • runs under 1st critical speed

for added robustness of the shaft/bearing assembly and for flexible operating speeds.

  • Semi-Open wet end available for higher solids concentration

  • Metal, rubber, and a wide range of metal/polymer options available on request

  • Optimized Thrust

Like the wings of a fighter jet, Suspendore’s™ blades have been engineered to provide the perfect combination of downward and outward thrust without sacrificing efficiency or degrading the suction performance of the pump.

  • Sump vacuuming ability

Compound layers of blades are positioned to optimize the Suspendore’s ability to lift resting solids into suspension so that they can be pumped rather than settle and collect. The Suspendore™ helps our pumps act like a sump vacuum cleaner.

  • Better wear characteristics

The Suspendore™ is engineered to maintain its agitation capability for the longest period possible as it wears. We do this through the very intentional placement of our agitation blades and encapsulating shroud.

  • More modular design

With our new design, it’s the application that drives the Suspendore’s™ size not the pump alone. If your application requires more agitation we can now fit your pump with a bigger sized Suspendore™ to ensure the most optimized mixing result. (some exceptions apply).

SUSPENDORE™ THE EVOLUTION OF AGITATION & MIXING TECHNOLOGY

our HNV and HNVO line shafts are standing up when a long setting lengths is needed

Our line shaft pumps are based on our robust vertical pumps’ design and comes in two drive configurations and feature our modular wet end design.

THE HNV STANDARD SERIES

  • double sealed columns

which are oil lubricated from the top.

  • Radial bearings

are grease lubricated from the top.

  • moisture sensor

between the primary and secondary seals in the oil chamber.

  • lengths of up to 50ft max

  • V-Belt or Direct Drive arrangements

THE HNVO SERIES with WATER CUTLASS BEARING

  • nonsealed column

with a submerged, clear water flushed.

  • split Radial bearing

This breakthrough bearing design uses a thin film of water to lubricate the bearing.

  • maintenance dream come true

as it allows you to disassemble and replace the bearing without disassembling the whole pump.

  • lengths of up to 24ft max

  • V-Belt or Direct Drive arrangements
